I just bought my armada se 2006 last year and I love it!
About a month ago my engine light turn on and I took it to a local shop here in town they checked the code and it seems to be a cracked header on the passenger side. I been reading the forum and it seems to be a very common issue with this SUV's.
I would like to go aftermarket on the headers and would like to get an input from the people on this forum that had this taken care off.
Both mine are cracked so I recently bought some JBA Headers... I'm currently shopping Hi-Flow CATs and B-Pipes so I can replace all of the known problematic components.
I was looking at this stillen ceramic polished long tubes and maybe using their B-pipes with the cati on them I just don't know if it would work out just fine.
Stillen Headers have been said to be good.... I don't trust most of their products because of the problems other people have had but the headers don't seem too bad. I'm hoping that Kyle gets to take the reins of the company someday and step up their quality a notch or two because his dad Steve doesn't seem to really care about what they sell out the door as long as they get paid for it.
Yeah you could say Pops knows what he's talking about. lol What do you think of the JBAs you recently got Pops? Ive been hesitant because they are so new to the market and not sure about longevity of them...
