Popping noise from passenger rear.

Okay guys, I've got an issue.. When I'm taking a right turn into a drive way or whatever, I hear a popping noise coming from the passenger rear. It's like the noise is coming from the wheel well or around that area.. Only when I'm turning right into a driveway, not left into a drive way. It doesn't do it every time. And it almost seems to do it when all the weight is off the wheel.. Any suggestions?

well people to have a life in the real world so give them time to get home, kiss the dog and relax.

I do not know what it could be, but i would imagine this car is still new and under warranty? why not schedule a service trip?

have you looked under the car to see if anything is loose? dangling? could be soemthing really simple...

Yea I've checked it out.. And I see nothing. I don't mind taking to the dealership but they have no rental car.. I have to pay out of pocket for one with no reimbursement.. With that being said, I'm trying to see if I can figure it out myself haha..

Cv joints? Popping usually indicates binding followed by forced release of tension. Also, Armadas are known for squirrelly volts floating around. Turn off your vdc and see if it still does it.

Ok, so I took your advice and turned the vdc off and it STILL does it.. but it seems to do it when the vehicle is rocking more. And I checked the jack, it is secure. Guess ill be making that trip to the dealership

Ok guys, so I took it to the dealership yesterday... It was the rear hatch latch.. It was causing the lift gate to not close securely. So every time I would go up into a drive way, the hatch would make a popping sound. Replaced the latch, no more popping.
