Android cable

I was initially told when we were looking at our new truck that it came with a cable to connect our Android phones (which have micro USB connectors) to the 3.5mm plugin, so we could play music from them over the audio system. But we had our dealer "education" session today, and they said that it does not come with that cable.

So wondering what others might be using to plug in their micro USB devices. I'm having a hard time finding a straight 3.5mm to micro USB on Amazone.

I don't think there is a male to micro USB there is a female to micro USB. Which means u have to have male to male 3.5mm then use this...

Thanks. I did see that setup on Amazon, having to buy the 2 cables to make it work. That's what prompted me to post here. I was hoping there was a less cludgy cable available.

I just use a male - male 3.5 mm audio cable to go from my headset jack to my auxiliary input. I play pandora that way. Not all phones support microusb audio out FYI.

Duh! Thanks for that. I never even thought to plug it into the headphone jack. I have the male - male 3.5mm coming, so I'll try that first. The 3.5mm female to micro usb adapter has already arrived, so I'll try it both ways to see what, if any, differences there might be.
