05 Power Lift gate opening by itself

Hey guys, you've helped me in the past so hoping someone has a clue as to what's happening to my 05 Armada this time. For some reason my rear lift gate is opening by itself. I'll close it and walk away, when I come back a few minutes later it will be open again.

Sometimes it will re-open itself immediately, other times it will wait a few minutes and open itself. Other times I'll close it, then close a different door and it will cause the rear door to open by itself.

It seems to have started after I had a battery issue, where we had the rear door open and a dome light and the radio was left on until the battery was almost dead.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is worrisome. If it happened to me, while the truck was in the garage, that would cause some damage to the liftgate door and my garage door. Are you sure nothing is blocking the latch mechanism?

Luckily it was pulled into the garage far enough that it didn't hit the garage door. I didn't see anything that may have been blocking the latch.

My first suspect would be the remote. Is there any way that you're accidentally hitting the button on the remote while it's in your pocket? I've done that before. Could the remote button be sticking?
