So... Long story short, my 98 Altima died, (will not go in to gear, 5s M/T) and I am tired of fixing all the little things to keep it up and running, 240k on the ODO, so I bought a new 13 Altima and will work on the 98 when I have time.
I have been on one of the Altima forums and let me tell you, Club Armada is by far the best club on the internet. I have asked a few questions on the Altima forums and have received so much trash from many of the users that I don't even want to be a part of that. I get that most of the people over there are much younger and they talk to each other like that, but damn. For instance, I asked about my tach having an issue with a small bounce (clicks like a stuck second hand on a clock), while at idle, and cruising, and I get a reply of "Hey Dumbas.., it suppose to move up and down" (this was a tame one) and other crap like that.
I just wanted to thank you all for being adults and treating each other with respect, no matter what the question is that get posted on this forum.
Stay Classy CA.

Here and TitanTalk are the only places that I really interact anymore... I don't know why but communicating on the other forums just isn't the same, I haven't had any rudeness, it's just different personalities. There's been a couple times i've been a smartas on here trying to be funny, then I go back and reread later realizing that it doesn't come across funny like it was intended so I've been trying to refrain more from attempting to be funny to spare myself from coming across as being stupid towards new members.
My membership experience has been here and over on Titantalk also. I must say it must have cooled and settled down more from when I was actively posting over there. lol There were SOO many "Heated" discussions haha. Man the stories.....
Yes, CA is above and beyond the BEST forum I've come across on the internet. I truly appreciate how all the members and the Mods respect the rules and make it such a family friendly forum!
Oh and Pops, have at it with the funny, at least in my threads! I'm sure Richard, ntrddragn, wouldn't mind either.

Trust me, I am the guy who loves to throw out some humor, but these guys just take it to a level that was pretty much unacceptable. Mind you, 20+ years in the Navy, and I can swear like a Sailor, and I have a pretty sick and twisted sense of humor when needed and in the right crowd, but when you ask a simple question and you get answers ranging from "you’re a Dumba##, to sexual relations with a animal" that is a little over board.
I have no problem with humor, but when my tach problem might be related to intercourse with a Platypus it’s funny, but does not answer my question... At least here, I get the humor and the answer. Anyway, how does he know I have a platypus as a pet???
