A/C blowing hot air on 1 side and cold on the other

Hello,
I have an 08' Armada with the dual air option. When i turn on the heat, the drivers side blows heat and the passenger side and the rear vents blow cold air. I turned off the dual and it still does the same thing. Any ideas? Thanks all.

You could have a bad or stuck blend door inside your HVAC box. I had this problem when my truck was new. They found a stripped servo motor gear and had to replace the entire HVAC assembly under warranty. To this day I the temp is not right and the box still makes noise when you shut it off.

I just started having the same problem.
I also have been getting that infamous woodpecker sound as well for a while now, and wondering if these two problems are related. Anyone have an idea?

The noise I hear on my truck is more of a groaning sound as the blend door moves. I have heard the "woodpecker" noise on the videos posted online and it does not sound like that.

However, I would not be surprised if your problem is related to the woodpecker noise from the actuator.
