Hi From Walkersville MD

Hi, I am "New" to the forum. I say "New" because actually I signed up some time ago but hadn't posted anything until now. I've been cruising the site a lot to find useful information though.

I had no idea Bose would suck this much. When I test drove it I really didn't turn on the system because I assumed it would be rockin like Bose home systems. Now that I have had it for 2 years I really regret that. I bought my wife an Xterra for her wedding gift from me and it has a RF system in it. That makes this Bose PoS sound like a kids toy.

So first order of business is rectifying that wrong! There seems to be a lot of helpful posts on doing this but I do have some questions so will be posing them in the A/V forum.

Welcome to the Club!!
I'm not sure what you mean about anything Bose makes that rocks, but there is plenty of stuff out there to make your Mada rock, I wouldn't use anything made by Bose to hold the door open!

Maybe Bose has declined all around? I used to think they had good products. I recall liking those Bose cubes. Either way its mind numbing to me that Nissan would put this crap in such a great truck.

I always thought the cubes looked kinda funny, when you put little 3" cubes around a 60" screen, something just isn't right?!? Personally I prefer Totems!

I believe this because all the head lights and taillights have strobe bulbs in them, on the back hatch below the third light there are screws where I assume a set of lights were installed, and finally there are some screw holes in the center console (not where a DVD player would be so I assume a CB).

That being said, do you think any of hte mods they would do to add in all of the special equipment would cause them to splice into the sound system for any reason?
