Mechanic near West Covina, CA???

I have a 2005 Armada LE, and I am having the brake booster/delta sensor issue that many others have had (ABS system seems to engage randomly when driving, with grinding noise).

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic near West Covina, CA?? I'm trying to avoid the dealer, of course.

Thanks in advance.

Yameen - this might be a problem you will need the dealer to address. However, I've had nothing but good results from Gary Grauman at Superior Automotive, on Rt. 66 in Glendora. He's on the north side of the street, just west of Grand Ave. He's been doing all of the out of warranty repairs and maintenance on both my Armada and Maxima for years. My father in law has been using him for years as well.

Thank you very much. I did end up going to the dealer. They were about $200 more than the independant shops were quoting me, but I have the "satisfaction" of knowing that the job was probably done right.

Thanks for the referral, I'll keep Gary in mind in the future.

Yameen - what specifically did they do to your truck, and what was the cost?

Hey, Sorry about the delay in responding. When I get home from work this evening, I'll grab my paperwork from the dealer and post exactly what they wrote...

Whatever it was, I recall the cost was $829.00.
