I have used them before. They work great, but honestly you get better sound using it direct to your mobile device. Plus the bluetooth drains your battery quick, so you end up plugging in for power anyways.

I must be missing something here. Why not just plug your phone right into the aux jack?

Less wires dangling around the interior. Actually thinking of using this for my BMW, which has the Aux plug in the center console. There is also a power plug in there, so the whole unit just stays in my console all of the time.

I have the Belkin Aircast one and it works great. I am sure the griffin is the same. I can not tell a bit of difference between it being plugged in the aux or through BT. I can make calls and have not had any complaints. It's nice to not have to worry about plugging it in everyone you get in the truck. It also works with Siri if you own an iPhone.

Then this should work fine for what you are asking it to do Keith.

For a stock stereo, you can't really tell the difference, if you have an amplified system you might want to stick with the 3.5mm cable direct.

Also I use these to clean up my cable mess:

bluetooth has limited bandwidth. BT 4 has addressed this somewhat, but you can certainly tell a difference in spatial information when using BT as opposed to hardline.

if you play crappy auto tuned pop music that is normalized and has no peaks and valleys in the sound output (just high energy noise) then you may not notice this,, but for other types of music it stands out.

ive had mine for about a month...I LOVE IT...i have no issues. i leave my iphone bluetooth on all the time, when i get in vehicle everything automatically connects and sounds great. the only slight warning is that on phone calls the phone defaults to the blutrip so u have to select to use phone during the call...but considering the whole talking while driving thing its not like im on phone anyway

Re: Streaming Music over Bluetooth

For my Android device, I have a smart action setup to play Pandora automatically when I connect to the Armada via Bluetooth, plug in the aux jack and plug in the charger.
