Hey everyone. I'm planning on changing
My coolant and thermostat this weekend and thought about replacing the water pump while the coolant is drained already. I have 100k miles and not sure how long the water pump typically lasts. Should I go ahead and replace or let it go? With that, how long does the pump normally last on average? Also, does anyone have a how to on the pump replacement? Thanks!
Since you're doing all the cooling components then why not. The water pump is inexpensive based on rockauto prices. Also I recommend you replace your upper and lower radiator hoses.
