Adding fog lights to 2017 Armada

I bought a used 2017 Armada and it doesnít come with fog lights. Iíd like to add them and I have seen in a video that the older ones are pre wired and all you have to buy is the fog lights and column switch. Does anyone know if that is the case with the new ones? The Nissan parts guy had no clue. TIA

Just crawl under the car and see if the wiring harness is there.

If its not, its not too hard to wire in a set of fogs. Its just a relay, a switch, the lamps (ballast if you have HIDs) and tapping into power.

Ok, I did look under and I see what look like extra wires for the fog lights. So I called the Nissan Parts guy again and pressured him a little more to look into this. He did finally call Nissan and gave them my VIN and even though he shows no fog light kits they do make them. Itís on back order but ordered them anyway. This may help someone in the future.

there are only so many main wiring harness for three cars that share an assembly line. sometimes one car, although it may only be a base trim mode may end up with a top of the line trime model wiring harness. just depends on what harness is there at the line to get installed.

fog lamp wiring most often than not will be on the car, as many posts over the years of this firm have shown.

You can use LED Osram light (F1 LED driving) after a little customistation.
They fit the stock LED light and light up very well.

If anyone installs an LED light bar please post photos. I'd like to add one. Placement may be a bit challenging with all the sensors and cameras.
