Bowing Out...

The time came (last week) for me to turn loose of my Armada. It's been a great run, but I no longer "need" an 8-passenger hauler (family down-sized). Since I don't have my trailer, I have more use for a truck that still has the in-cab room for a fam of 4, and more HP (& gear) to handle a car hauler. Sorry, Nissan fans, but the Titan just doesn't fit the bill (maybe if it were redesigned/revamped).

Anyhow... you all have been great! Took advantage of lots of good info here @ CA. Keep the contributions coming (at least for all the newb's coming in). I'll check in from time-to-time (assuming my login will still work... LOL).

Well considering you've been quite the Chevy fan (just razzin' ya a bit), you'll always be as welcome as you always have been. Your input has been greatly appreciated here and regardless of what you do it will always be nice to have you around as you decide to check back once in awhile.

Thanks for the kind words! The only Chevy in my stable of cars is my Impala SS. Was thinking about a Tundra since I moved to TX, but the Armada lived up to what I needed then. Now, things have changed a bit, and the Tundra 5.7L Crew Max is the better fit. Will see how well it lives up to the hype. LOL

Nice... I haven't looked at them much but one thing that irks me about Toyota is their interior designs. The places they put things and what they leave out is annoying. The Armada interior makes alot more sense than my wife's Lexus GX470. Toyota didn't put storage bins so she junks up the cup holders then noone has anywhere to put their cups. Then they just randomly put switches anywhere so the switch placement makes no sense whatsoever and some of them are in the way of resting your hand or setting your cell phone down. It's true Japanese engineering at its best. Hope the Tundra was designed smarter. -lol....

Plenty of cup holders & storage space. LOL Quite roomy for a crew cab. Only other choice for this amount of room was Dodge's Mega Cab. I didn't want a diesel, nor a Dodge. Got a hard to resist deal on it.

This was one of the last images I took before the dealer that took it off my hands. Was a good road hog.

Eh... Had a great run. Several road trips without a hiccup. Drove 266 miles to make the trade. Ran like it should...

Probably the worst cosmetic issue it had.

Last image before I walked away. Hard? Sure. It was paid for (LOL). Lucky for me, I got what its worth, and don't owe much on the new ride. Should be paid off next year.
