Nissan leaf

I'm no car review expert but I think it'd make a decent city car. Especially if there were quick chargers installed at places like the mall, grocery stores etc. It was weird not seeing a tail pipe, gas tank etc under there.

And as far as ive heard they haven't been plagued with battery fires as the Chevy volt has been... Also they are supposed to have a longer opperating range on pure electric over the volt. Volt beats it in overall opperating range due to the gas generator chevy stuck in there. I must say it'd be interesting to drive a Leaf.

meh...100 miles radius on a full charge. 16 hours to charge from empty to full. and that 100 doesnt include operating the lights,ac radio you know the non important stuff. LOL And get me started with how its not better for the environment either.

Not really..we are sold the idea of "environment protection" by using these cars but the not so. The pollution to make these cars, the mining for lithium and the electricity to power it even out as a 'regular' gas car. Most people don't think how we get electricity. its from a power plant that use fossil fuel to make electricity or nuclear power plant. the more electricity is use the more fossil fuel are need to burn to make it. So from a 'consumer' stand point they are not directly pollution but they are indirectly pollution. AND can you imagine if 30% of all american are driving electric car? The strain it would put our electric system. I mean we have rolling blackout on 'hot' summer and thats with little electric cars plugging in.

So when we can produce energy cleanly to use its the same. I think in the meantime, clean diseal for mpg would be better. And lets not get into "global warming" nonsense. LOL

Lol... If the price is decent it'd be a great errand car (the Leaf)....in my humble opinion.
My brother in-law has a Chevy Volt on lease. It's a decent car but I can't get over the price. It gets ridiculously high gas mileage... The amount of gas burnt from VA to SC in the Volt, my Armada would burn before I got to the NC line from Richmond lmao....
