2010 Armada 4x4 Maintenance Transmission fluid level??

Ok I looked in the owners manual under Transmission, It states Transmission must be serviced at Nissan Dealer..I am familiar with the Newer ford Transmissions not having a dip stick and a plug at the passengers side right corner of transmission with a short dip stick..
Is the Armada the same. I am a stickler for Maintenance on all my Vehicles and want to keep a check on all fluids..Has anyone got info on this . also the 4x4 unit is it all one piece or separate, Guess I need to be looking for a Maintenance service Manual for this Nissan....Thanks in advance, james

The transfer case and transmission each have their own fluid. The dipstick for the transmission is to the left of the engine, just kind of sitting there.

Ok, I haven't traced out the lines yet on the armada. My 2010 Titanium has the tow hitch and 7 pin plug, So how do we know if it has the Tow Package, cooler ect... Looking just below trough the Grill there's a cooler and Fan mounted to the front side of the Radiator. Is the For transmission or AC unit..Thanks for any info..

If you have the tow package, you will have a transmission temp gauge on the dash board as well as auto leveling rear suspension.

Yep the Instrument panel has 2 temp quages, 1 in the center and 1 under the speedometer, Never hear a air compressor not sure about the Self leveling..So I should be good to Tow a 9,000 lb Enclosed trailer if I needed to..Thanks for the info..

The air compressor is near the rear of the vehicle to the left of the spare tire and behind the control arms for the rear tire (Drivers Side)

I have never towed anything, I just like the transmission temp guage.

However, I remember reading that any wight inside the car also counts for the 9,000lbs. Your best bet is to check the towing section on this forum for an accurate answer

Not necessarily. All 08 and up armadas and titans have the trans temp garage now. You need to check to see if you have the self leveling rear suspension or the axle tag to see your gear ratio to know which tow rating you fall under

Hmm, this is interesting. I have a 4x4 2010 SE, it has the "tow mode" button on the center console - haven't checked for the secondary temp gauge yet though. Does that mean I have the tow pkg and self leveling as well? I do have the trailer hitch.
