Talking A few pics of the mada after a good clean

Gave her a good overdue cleaning and captured a few good pics. Thought I would share.

Sweet. I wish I had gone for the black/dark color. Unfortunately, my wife was afraid the dark color would be hard to see at night and a safety issue.... White was out because is showed dirt too easily. Got silver instead.

We have a black Camaro, even though I've said I'd never have a black car again. They look great for about 5 minutes...then dust shows up. You did well with silver!

That's what my wife keeps saying. The silver just doesn't show the dirt/dust as much. However, to me it just doesn't seem to have as deep of a shine when polished up.

Thanks Dogue, just happened that way, wasn't staged. Black looks great when clean, but sure is hard to keep it looking that nice....

Yea, we had a silver armada a few years ago. Definitely hides the dirt more than black or white. We had a pearl white 2013 quest LE, it was nice looking, but it really showed road grime after just one or two highway runs after a wash. Have to stay on top of black to keep it looking good, but is sure shines up nice.....when it is clean.

I guess I could be happier with the silver color if the paint had more depth and more metallic definition. Overall, I'm happy with my choice.

I've only had one silver colored car before and it was a Plymouth (many, many, many, years ago probably before most of the people on this forum were born...) and the clearcoat over the silver deteriorated and flaked off leaving only a flat gray looking finish. I hated that car and have been turned off with silver cars ever since. I guess my wife was right about encouraging me to go with my "Brilliant-Silver" color.

Haha, I know exactly what you are talking about, I had a plymouth horizon that did the exact same thing (two toned gray/silver), it looked like I just drove it out of the junkyard. Clear coats back then did not hold up well at all, especially on the plymouth and mopar products....
The silver armada we had was the "brilliant silver" as well. I agree that it would look better with some metal flakes for some dimension, but overall, it almost always looked pretty clean, even when it was quite dirty. Silver camouflages dirt really well.....
