TPMS Help!!

I recently was taking my caps of one of my tires. And of course the valve snapped right inside the cap. Is there a replacement/repair kit for that? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Do dealers carry the fix? I have the same cap on all 4 so I want to know a solution before I remove the other caps and end up snapping all of them off. Will try to apply liquid wrench or WD40 before proceeding. Thanks in advance with any help you throw at me.

You will have to replace that sensor, you can't repair it.
You must be very careful about valve stem caps. Our stems are aluminum. The original caps are OK, but never use a stainless cap. Stainless and aluminum don't "play together" well; the combination will gall, causing the cap to seize. Plastic caps are probably the best to use; they won't seize.

Thanks scr38. So do you know if it is a pretty easy DIY swap job? Im living in Germany right now and I dont want any surprises. Thanks Seems like everyhting was fine while I was in the states but now that i am over here everything is starting to need a swap, with no dealer in sight.

Garage
Alot of tire shops can replace them... Maybe there's a tire shop on base that might be able to change it out??

Thank Pops. Yeah im going to check on base tomorrow. May have to just put a regular valve on there until i can get the part shipped, so I can get the truck back on the road.
