Electrical issues.. HELP!!!

So here’s the deal I have an 05 it’s got 215k miles. I bought it knowing it had some issues. It was running rough and had no power. I verified that cylinder 1 was not firing by pulling the coil plug and no change in the engine. In trying to verify if I had power coming to the cylinder 1 plug I shorted something out and now it won’t run at all. Two things to note. Number one: The anti theft left remains solid red when the key is turned to the on position. Is that normal or an issue with the anti theft system possibly? Number two: the cel does not light up at all. Under normal operation the cel will light up before starting the vehicle which it does not do now. Also when I plug a scanner into the obdII port I have “power” but I do not get a signal from the computer. All other dash lights are working. Along with all the accessories. Headlights, turn signals, radio, rad fan, etc. My fear is I may have fried my ecu? I have double checked all the relays and fuses that I know to find. My hope is I am missing a fuse somewhere? Are there any relays or fuses that are hidden from plain sight in the fuse and relay areas? If something is fried is it more likely the IPDM, or the main ecu? Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Anyone have any recommendations on a good company to check the ecu for damage?

I know that Uprev can reflash but if the ecu is fried that probably isn't an option.
Maybe talk to someone at the dealer for some pointers?
