differential pinion seal

Does anyone know what the average price is to replace a front differential pinion seal.

Mine is leaking , tranny gauge goes way up when climbing hills.
trying to find out prices before deciding where to take my 06 se off road for this repair.

Thanks

Yea, they charge it as a differential rebuild so the labor ends up costing about the same as just buying a new one and installing it yourself. I had 2 pinion seals replaced at different times under warranty.

I priced the seal out a couple days ago since mine started leaking. Best price I found for the seal itself was from Puyallup Nissan. $52.13 part # 38189-8S110 There are links to a how-to that is posted up on TitanTalk. When I find the link I'll edit and add it.

I doubt this is the same one y'all are looking for but I thought I would share. I just types in the part number and it came up. And it says it is compatible with the armada. But as I said it may be the wrong seal.
