trans fluid in diffs?

Well not really..
So I picked up an 06 with 62K and decided to do all the fluids. I drained the front and rear diff and then got my pump out and some Amsoil Severe Gear. I pumped the pump a few times and realized that I had last used it for the transfer case and there was still a bit of trans fluid in it (the amsoil trans fluid is used in the transfer case). So, I pumped about half a quart of the severe gear through it at which point I hadnt seen hint of trans fluid mixed in, and then I filled the front and rear diffs.

What I am wondering is, should I buy a new pump and drain and re-fill the diffs immediately? I am concerned that there could be some trans fliud contamination and maybe that could cause the severe gear to break down?
Any thoughts?

I did the same thing about two years ago, right before my long trip from Chicago to Texas. So far and knock on wood, everything is been good.

Yes you should drain and re-fill as soon as you can.

Just to be clear, I didn't put anything into the diffs until AFTER I had pumped a half-quart through the pump and it absolutely no red tinge for a while..

Per Amsoil:

"The small amount of ATF that may have been left in the pump is of no concern."
