need diff help

09 armada, bearing went on my front diff driver side stub shaft. After removing diff and opening the back, how do i get to the c-clip inside? do you have to pull the ring gear out first?

No need to open the differential. Use a puller or tap on the shaft flange to remove the shaft. The clip stays on the shaft.
When re-installing the shaft tap on the shaft to seat the clip. It will snap in place.
