Factory Trans Cooler Lines Reversed??

Just recently picked up a new-to-me 08 Mada LE (only 48k miles). Been reading a lot on the forums for the past several months, trying to learn as much as I could about the mada's before getting one. Love the truck but I know from reading everyone's posts on here that there's a couple things that are highly recommended to do sooner rather than later...

First thing I did was to convert the glitchy malfunctioning air leveling over to SE springs/shocks and put on 5100's up front. Rides amazing now! Next on the list was to do the radiator internal trans cooler bypass, mainly as a preventative thing. During the install of the new trans cooler I ran into a confusing situation with the factory trans cooler feed and return lines. The orientation of these 2 lines seemed to be opposite of what is shown in the Factory Service Manual. The FSM shows that the cooler FEED line is attached to the tranny at the front port (closest to the engine) and heads from there to the passenger side trans cooler port on the radiator. On mine they were opposite of this (my FEED line ran from the front port on the tranny to the driver side port on the radiator). Anyone ever run into this? Does reversing the trans cooler flow damage anything?

Thanks!
