Engine Overheating

It overheat when I had the front and rear ac blasting this weekend. I have a stillen and efan for awhile... I burp it many many times with the burping funnel. No trap air. New t Stat around few thousand miles ago...the truck is around 170k miles. I have a feeling it could be the water pump. Since I never changed it. So before I tear it out and replace it, I wanted to see what your thoughts are. I might change the tensioner also.

I had that problem last summer. I too replaced the thermostat and did the burping without improvement. I ended up replacing the fan clutch and that fixed my overheating (mostly). I still had two occasions where it heated up after that, so I must still have one more issue, but it was a huge improvement.

Stock 2007 LE 4x4 Red Brawn
317k+ miles
Issues: exhaust manifold leak, loose tailpipe, leaky front diff, front right wheel bearing, dead compressor, EVAP vent control valve, dash damper tick

I have the dual electronic fans. No clutch fans. It's hard to resolve this because it has to be hot outside and be under load. Which isn't an issue in the past 6 yrs in California but this yr is been cool until last weekend. Normal driving no issues. I guess I have to do the water pump.
