2017 Armada (SV) Weak Power Steering

Under load conditions (slow speed/RPM and quick steering input), it shudders so bad it feels like you lost power for a second or two. This issue has been a minor one so far, but I need to bring to the attention of the dealer to see if they have a fix or other complaints.

Thanks, I agree. It’s actually a 2017. It’s only occurred once where it did this bad enough to concern me, so I’m concerned I will not be able to duplicate at the dealer...so I need to figure out how to repeat it first.

I've noticed on my 2012 that I can "beat" the power steering by turning the wheel quickly at low rpms. I think the whole system is undersized for the truck. I've heard people have similar complaints with other Nissan products. If you haven't already make sure you aren't low on PS fluid.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve checked the fluid level and it’s at the right level. Will post after I get it to the dealer and see if they can replicate it.
