How did the trip go? Looking to buy travel trailer and would love feedback on how your vehicle towed. Cathy

Towing a 30í Airstream?

Wow. Thatís huge. Here are the scale weights of my 2017 Armada Platinum while towing my enclosed snowmobile trailer. I used a equalizer hitch as well. Tongue weight was around 550 pounds if I remember right. b4c83d27349443c38fbe3c18ef09e821.png[/IMG]

Well, I did another test run this weekend to the scales to see how it went before my planned trip next week. Everything worked out great. It drove smooth, I was within specs, and Iím ready for my trip!

We have a 2013 Armada towing a 28’ Airstream. Tow rating is 9000 lbs, Sali is 7500 gross. We are at tongue weight max.
It does a great job!

We can easily tow flat to rolling hills all day long at about 63 mph. Steeper hills require downshift to 3rd and I usually let it drop to 55 even though it will do more. Steepest hills like Grand Teton pass at 10k feet and very steep grade required 2nd gear and everything she had to go about 35 at the very top.

All in all we’re happy and have logged 20k miles with the combo. I dont know the gross of your 30’ but sounds like you're paying attention since you've been to the scales.

Have fun and be SAFE.
