Hello! I’ve been a member but I haven’t really posted. I have a 2004 QX56. I am the 3rd owner my brother in law being the second one. It currently has 267,000 and counting. Wherever I turn off the suv the nav screen stays lit with a white light. I have to disconnect the battery in order to get it to go off. Sometimes It will work so I’ll be able to use the rear back up camera and the radio. Then it will just go off and not work again for a while. It comes and goes. Any body rose else had that issue?

So that would cause it to work intermittently?
how can I go about checking that out?

it could be anything since is electrical.

have you had any modifications done to the radio or any of the electrical system?

there could be a wire that's losing continuity in the harness or something inside the radio. gremlins like these are difficult to diagnose, especially over the internet.
if your car is working normally otherwise, it may be simply the radio/headunit.
