04' Suspension

Hello everyone-kid again with a few q's:

Alright, so after a year we pumped only 14,000 miles into our 04' SE Smoke Armada. I was wondering, as the usual driver, I feel as if I was the suspension, and sitting in the car, feel EVERYTHING the car goes though. Is there any way I can get the suspension changed, adjusted, fixed for a smoother ride? Or is it relatively normal for an OEM (so-far) 04' SE?

Side note: This is an early 04 with only 3 major problems: Rotors (Fixed) Minor Vibration in Ceiling console (Fixed) and this somewhat problem of the susupension.

Smooth is a relative term when it comes to a 6K Lbs truck built on a fully boxed ladder frame. This in not a monoframe SUV or is it built on a car like frame/suspension. Anything that can tow 9k lbs. is not going to give you a premium ride. If you change out springs and shocks to alter the ride or soften things up you will negatively impact the cargo and tow capacity of the vehicle. At 14K with OEM rubber I’m sure that is what you're feeling. These are 20K tires at best. A good set of rubber will improve things drastically.

It is a nearly impossible design task to have a vehicle (truck/body-on-frame) with the weight/towing/cargo capacity of the Armada and still have the manners and ride of a passenger car, that's what cross-over SUVs are for (mini vans in disguise). My last truck was a 1-ton and the Armada rides like a limo by comparison. You can't really expect a truck with 9k towing capacity to be anywhere near as civilized as a passenger car. You bought a truck, not a car.
