2 problems.... need help

after i installed the AVE i had the airbag light flash....i know how to reset it..and i have done it...but every so often it goes back on again and i need to reset it again.

Prob # 1 - Had the same issue. Try resetting the radio / unplug the car battery for a minute or so. Didnt work for me, they had to order me a new cd player.

Prob # 2 - Sorry, cant help you here.

Problem #2 - The plug on the wiring harness is probably not connected properly to the switch. You have to push them on firmly until they latch.

The CD player sounds like it has a bad switch inside it. Probably need a new one. But I'd reset just in case. No idea about the airbag sensor.

If you had the radio out make sure the brackets didn't get bent and the disk slot in the benzel is aligned with the slot on the radio. When they replaced my radio they bent the brackets and the cds wouldn't load or eject and the benzel wasn't flat with the rest of the dash. They tried to blame it on my previous work at first till I pointed out it came into the shop fine. After working with the tech I noticed he had twisted one bracket slightly and it was putting everything out of wack. Doesn't sound like this is the case but just an fyi.

dito SCR38 on the possible airbag issue. When you reset it count the blinks. I think there is a place itn the service manual that gives you the answer to what the number of blinks mean.

air bag light

its probably a bad seat belt switch inside the drvers seat belt buckle my cd player and air bag light came on got both replaced

i made an appointment with Infiniti for Dec 1 they say over the phone that the radio needs to be replaced.

thats interesting about the seat belt...what the hell does that have to do with the CD.LMAO!!
