I am considering a 2006 Armada. Did Nissan fix the brake problem?

Yes, the 2006 has the new brakes.
I Have A 2006 (8,200 Miles) And I Am Taking It To The Dealer This Week. I Seem To Have A Problem With Rotors When I Press The Brakes The Steering Wheel Shakes Alot And It's Getting Worse.
They fixed them mid year '05 and are replacing any bad brakes for free with then new parts for 3 years unlimited miles. It took Toyota 4 years to address the same problem on the Sequoia and they didn't cover them with the warranty. ;)
I have a family member that might pick up an Armada next year January, but if they didn't fix the brakes yet......

They have been taken care of! The 06 has no brake problems like the 04/05s.
I have 18,000 miles on my 06, and have yet to have any brake problems. No worries with the 06.
I havent had any problems with my 06 brakes, i think its fixed
They changed the brakes middle of production in '05 year. I think he was just trolling.
Mine are fine. Changing anyways for looks. Anyone wants to buy my stock ones??? send me PM with offer.
hehe. Can i add the stock front brakes to the rear? are they the same? or different?

Thanks.

Different. The front brakes on all vehicles are more massive than the rear and responsible for 80%+ of the braking. Rear brakes are more afterthought than necessity.
It's finally happened. My brakes on my '06 are pulsating after just 12K miles. More specifically the steering wheel shakes under moderate braking. The is no shimmy from the wheel at any other time. Looks like it's time for a visit to the dealer (what fun).

Anybody with an '06 have this? I know they were supposed to have this fixed by '06, so you can imagine my surprise.

First one I've ever heard of with the new brakes having a problem. Bring it in and have it checked. No brakes are perfect, but Nissan went from 50% to 98% with the change. ;)

I have not had this problem, but I am having a problem with my front brakes groaning when I brake kind of hard. Dealer fixed it once under warranty about three months ago. Now theyre acting up again and started doing the same thing last week, and the dealer this time said it wasnt covered under warranty, because the fool of a service rep didnt know there was a TSB for it. If this becomes an issue, I will make sure to hire a lawyer. Hopefully itll be fixed.

This can happen from rapid cooling of the rotor after hard braking ie: going down a hill riding brakes and then hitting a puddle of water. I had this happen on a 2500 GMC a couple of times. One time turned rotors to fix it, second time had to replace both front rotors. Now I always close the brakes before I hit any water.
Hope you have an easy fix!
i have not had any problems so far, but then again only 3000mi. Anyways i am upgrading the brakes. Now only if STILLEN would ship them out.
I took the Beast in to the dealership for the brake pulsation. They found the rotors had excessive runout, so they machined the rotors and scuffed the pads. All is well now and covered under warrenty.
These types of break issues happen. My 2006 GS430 Lexus has been in for break problems twice. The only diff between Nissan and Lexus is at Lexus you get better refereshments and some lady walks around asking you if you'd like more? So even on a 60K car there are issues. Don't get discouraged.
