Yes, the 2006 has the new brakes.
But if you'd read the post....Halo said:I have a family member that might pick up an Armada next year January, but if they didn't fix the brakes yet......
They have been taken care of! The 06 has no brake problems like the 04/05s.Halo said:I have a family member that might pick up an Armada next year January, but if they didn't fix the brakes yet......
Different. The front brakes on all vehicles are more massive than the rear and responsible for 80%+ of the braking. Rear brakes are more afterthought than necessity.06armadaSE4x2 said:hehe. Can i add the stock front brakes to the rear? are they the same? or different?
Thanks.
First one I've ever heard of with the new brakes having a problem. Bring it in and have it checked. No brakes are perfect, but Nissan went from 50% to 98% with the change.ToyHauler said:It's finally happened. My brakes on my '06 are pulsating after just 12K miles. More specifically the steering wheel shakes under moderate braking. The is no shimmy from the wheel at any other time. Looks like it's time for a visit to the dealer (what fun).
Anybody with an '06 have this? I know they were supposed to have this fixed by '06, so you can imagine my surprise.
I have not had this problem, but I am having a problem with my front brakes groaning when I brake kind of hard. Dealer fixed it once under warranty about three months ago. Now theyre acting up again and started doing the same thing last week, and the dealer this time said it wasnt covered under warranty, because the fool of a service rep didnt know there was a TSB for it. If this becomes an issue, I will make sure to hire a lawyer. Hopefully itll be fixed.ToyHauler said:It's finally happened. My brakes on my '06 are pulsating after just 12K miles. This can happen from rapid cooling of the rotor after hard braking ie: going down a hill riding brakes and then hitting a puddle of water. I had this happen on a 2500 GMC a couple of times. One time turned rotors to fix it, second time had to replace both front rotors. Now I always close the brakes before I hit any water.ToyHauler said:It's finally happened.
