Hi,
on the platinum reserve it has the two tone seats and the first two rows have the seat fans so the upholstery covers throughout have pin hole perforations, including the 3rd row. (see picture below, its the darker portion in middle of seat).
Our kids released some bodily fluids in the third row through their car seats and I noticed there is a 'spongy' sound and dampness in the middle of the seat. In the Xterra with the neoprene you could soap and vacuum it but the Armada seats its not a vacuum-able surface. Has anyone had to detail one of these or spilled coffee in the drivers seat?

The leather seats in my wife’s LR Discovery are perforated almost entirely with the exception of the side bolsters and headrests. Awhile back, my mother-in-law stumbled when getting into the LR and spilled her soda across the 3rd row seats. I used my wet/dry vacuum with the crevice tool and slowly glided over the leather seats to remove the liquid and residual moisture. Afterwards, I sprayed Griots interior cleaner and used a leather cleaning brush to clean the seats thoroughly. Repeat with the vacuum and conditioned the seats afterwards.

Griots worked well. Maybe the seat isnt as porous as thought. Gave it a good spray down and used a microfiber towel and I don't smell any trace of "odor"
