Hello Jason. - Can you share your attorney's name or number? I am pursuing lemon law on my own in Maryland with a certified/signature required letter but probably need an attorney for help.I have had everything swapped internally to include a whole new unit, still does it. I wil lsay this though, mine always does it at the same locations, so I am wondering if there is something Frequency wise that is interfering and causing the unit to reset on me?
Any Luck, we have a lemon law attorney currently.
I bought this car for my wife about 7 months ago. This has been an issue since we bought it. The dealer is now feeding me these lies about my phones i paired up. This issue still happens even my nothing is paired up. I am waiting for a response from the service department. The infotainment system in my 2021 Armada is extremely glitchy. The volume control will get stuck on navigation voice volume and will not allow me to change the volume on the radio or the volume of a caller on Bluetooth. In addition, the direct tune knob does not scroll through station on satellite radio. Lastly, periodically the system randomly shuts down and reboots all by itself while I am driving.
When the volume control gets stuck on Navigation voice volume I have to hold down the on/off button for 15 seconds to do a hard reboot to get the ability to adjust the radio volume again.
I took it into the dealer and they told me that these glitches are because the cellphones I have paired to the radio have operating system versions higher than what the radio can handle. They said I need to be patient and these bugs will work themselves out via future system updates.
Hard to believe that a vehicle at this price has such nuisances in its performance. Anyone with the same experience? Is the Dealer Service Center feeding me a line?
Not nearly continuously yet but, there are documented issues with the 21/22 infotainment system. It does seem like the dealerships are willing and able to help, which they should be, but there are a few owners noted on this forum that have had the entire system replaced and are still having issues. Nissan released an update not too long ago, 2-3 weeks back. I am hoping it will help the stability of the system. Mine seems to be working fine'ish right now. I'm not annoyed enough to take it back to the dealer yet and the update seems to have helped. It functions how it should 90-95% of the time, then there is the occasional automated reboot or manual reboot that's needed for carplay to connect and function correctly. But there is an entire thread on electronic issues with the new system.New to forum today. 2022 Armada with nav issue.
Nav/Radio reboots itself nearly continuously. The dealership is working with me and promises to replace controller. Anyone else have this issue?

Oh, that stinks! I’ve never had to do a full/hard reset (where user settings are reset to factory settings). That would piss me off the first time it happened. Mine just reboots as if the ignition has been turned off then back on again. Then it comes up (usually) ready to go, picks up my maps/destination and music/Pandora/etc. I am sure they will take care of you, at least I hope they do. Keep us posted. Thanks CBEllis.
I have a commitment to replace controller soon. we’ll see.
More information: when the system reboots, about half the time it returns to the last station. The other half, it loses all the presets, returns to 88 am, and resets my security alarms for the rear door alert and locking from the fob.
I suspect that the earlier ’repairs’ may have been made with equally defective controllers. Thus showing the same issues. It’s disappointing that the 22’s have problems. It indicates there has been no progress.
I’ll keep posting as this unfolds. And yes it is horrible.Jumping in to follow any updates on this issue. Mine will go blank periodically, but comes back up with all settings intact. Annoying, but not horrible.
I too have this problem 1 month after purchasing my 21 Platinum Armada. I traded in my lovely ‘18, Blue Platinum Reserve Armada for the Red ‘21. I waited 5 months for a new system, my dealer hadn’t seen or heard of any of the issues I was having before. Reading all of yours makes me feel better actually, as I’m still having the same problems, with my new system! I’ve already called the dealership, like you all I’m ready to throw in the towel with this. I travel a lot with my family and having the use of my system is necessary! I video and try to document everything happening, it gets frustrating and old. I asked them to just give me Blue Back! Of course they didn’t. I do appreciate the person that noted, holding down the on/off button to reset. That was a life saver on my current trip! Never have I known you could reboot that way, we just kept turning the car on and off, and it wasn’t working this time! I sure hope they figure this out soon, way too much $$ invested in Nissan to say this is my last car to be purchased as a Nissan. We own 4 in total; the Armada (my 4th), Kicks, Versa, and Pathfinder. Never have I been this disappointed in Nissan.what phone are you paring? the OS version should matter NOT. "higher than what the radio can handle"? LOL what does that even mean? thats a BS story to kick the can down the road.
that said though,
ive seen a lot of 2021 users with issues with screens going dark, and issues you suggest. there are bugs in the system for sure that MAY or MAY not be resolved. the good thing is the system can be updated easily via a software update, so maybe just give it time, r spend time at the dealer making them fix the issue, or buy your car back.
Hey @CBEllis , I'm curious how to find out when new software versions are available. I must admit I haven't done a lot of investigation, but I can't seem to find anything on the Nissan website that lists the latest version available.Nissan released an OTA update yesterday. My ‘21 finished the update today and so-far so-good. Make sure your system updates asap!
For me, there was a message that popped up stating that an update was available, did I want to update, and I said “yes.” I think there is an option that allows you to check for updates, to see if any are available or to verify that you are using the latest version. I’ll check the version on mine and post a pic here.Hey @CBEllis , I'm curious how to find out when new software versions are available. I checked mine today, and I have a different version that what was mentioned in this thread (could be Canada vs USA?)

Apologies for the poor pic quality and dirty screen! ☹
I have my Armada connected to wifi, and the system updates are set to auto - but I don't see a way to track when the last update was downloaded or installed? Is the process completely background, or would I see a notification?
Interesting that my 2021 Titan also shows a different version. I guess it makes sense that the software would be model specific - although I thought the map version would be the same.
Thanks
Don
Got it, thanks! I thought I was missing some other way of knowing when updates were pushed out. Good of you to share that you got the message! I'll do the same. It would be nice if Nissan posted that information somewhere. For me, there was a message that popped up stating that an update was available, did I want to update, and I said “yes.” I think there is an option that allows you to check for updates, to see if any are available or to verify that you are using the latest version. No issues with mine - 2021 SL too. I’m constantly syncing the rear air with the front/main but that’s just my ocd. But the auto setting for the hvac seems to work like it should.2021 Armada SL owner here. My infotainment units seems OK, but I am having issues with the heating system. The problem is that it outputs full heat if the temperature is set at 65F (18.5C). If I drop the temp to 64F(18C) it outputs cold air. There is no in between. Kind of sucks when it is 15F outside and you bundled up, and the heat is full blasting out outputting cold air. Has anyone noticed this? Seems to be some sensors issue or junk system that cannot mix cold and hot air right. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
