I live in Alaska, I stay in AUTO 6 months out of the year and 4 wheel drive as needed. Rather spend .10 a gallon extra rather then smash my 40,000 Armada.

Which do you drive in more often and why?
I've been in Auto since Saturday - it's been snowy and crappy here on the East Coast. But, I can't help but wonder if I *really* need to be in Auto, and will I get better gas mileage from 2WD?
