3rd row access issues (2nd row Captain's Chairs)

I'm having a problem with both my 2nd row seats not wanting to fold forward for third row access. I figured out that if I pull upwards on the bottom of the seat as I pull the shoulder lever to beign folding it will usually work fine. However using just the level and trying to fold it word makes the back fold flat but the seat remains locked in place. I have to pick the back of the chair up and try again from step 1.

This is a huge problem with any friends\co-workers that are new to my car and usually results in me having to open it for them or them simply climbing over the center console.

Is it supposed to be this hard to fold over the captains chairs?!?!

Have you tried pulling the lever on the top of the seat next to the headrest? ;)
That is what I meant by "Shoulder Lever" The one next to the head rest.

Sorry to be a Newb but.. What is a TSB?

TSB = Technical Service Bulletin as issued by the manufacturer (Nissan)
