Back side of the 3rd row when folded down.. leather/leatherette or carpet?

Just trying to decide if the 2 dogs will tear it up when folded down.

Do they make a big rubber all-weather mat for that area when bench is folded?

It is carpet. Also, there is a big cargo liner out there. Forgot who makes it. Good luck!

It's carpet, but the backs of the headrests are exposed, and they are leather / vinyl. That area can be covered by flaps that fold down from the back of the 2nd row, but you can't put a whole lot of weight on them.

I've got two labs. They ride without issue in the back. No chewing etc. You'll just need a good vac to clean up afterward - recommend a red devil handheld with rotating brush.

I have a Weathertech liner for my Volvo wagon - love it, except when the third row seat goes up I have to stow it someplace.

Check out the rear cargo mat by Catch-all. It is stain resistant, the charcoal matches perfect w/ the gray interior. Would definetely recommend this mat over anything else. The all-rubber mats to me seem cheap.
