Will it fit my 05?

It is the same AEM part number for '04 and '05.
It should definetely fit.

What was customized then. Do you have instruction on how to install?

The tech used the existing hardware that holds the oem airbox and air-intake tubing. The "customized" part was an extra clamp he used to keep the aem brute force in place since the one it came with was not enough to keep the rubber boot in place. Is this the newer dry filter model, or the oiled filter?
