is it possible to put a 7 inch headrest screen in the built-in dvd console. one shop told me they could do it, but another said i would have problems with the wiring. would appreciate any inputs.

It can be done, a few members have already done it. If you want a factory look than go with the Myron & Davis screen, it replace the factory drop down bin.

it can be done....I did not like the small factory headrests with 7" monitors, so I went aftermarket with a bigger headrest.

Myron and Davis headrest are some of the best I have seen.

Depends on the size, there is a 7.8" and a 9".

The Blaupunkt ME3 is a good player, but I am having a hard time finding one from and authorized reseller. I am going to have to look at other players now.

Any player will work with it. Just look for something that will play dvd-R and any other features you want.

so what did you do with your previous screen?

It's setting on top of the fridge. Someone was interested in it a while ago which got me to get the M&D. I haven't heard from him in a while so I don't know if he still wants it. I wish I could find another then I'd just put them in the headrest.

If it is in the Armada drop down cabinet, let me know if you want to sell it. If the place I have ordered the overhead monitor has not shipped it out by Monday, I am going to cancel my order.

I think is little too much too, but you have to pay if you want the stock look.

Well, I installed a 10.2" overhead monitor yesterday and ran all the wiring for the DVD (the DVD does not get here till Tuesday) but tested it by using a portable DVD. I could not have done it with out llajumpvid instructions, they were easy to fallow and the pictures helped a lot. I did not use connectors though, I solder everything and covered it with shrink tubing. I will post pictures of the installed items when I install the DVD player.
