Aftermarket Rims

I am going to be relocating to Boston in Feb of next year. I was contemplating getting aftermarket rims, but I heard because of the cold weather up north that its not advisable. Anyone up north that keeps their aftermarket rims on during the winter months, and what are the pros/cons to having chrome rims..

I guess I will be holding out on getting rims now. At least until next summer.

Thanks for the info, cuz I was this close :bow: to getting some DUB 24's this past weekend, good thing that I didn't.
