Where did you run the antenna to? It 'recommends' putting it near the back/tailgate. I'm not even sure it came with enough wire to get it back there. Will it work as well on the outside above the driver's side door, towards the center of the car? That's where I'm inclined to put it.

I have a sirius starmate - anyone know of a vent mount for use with it? I haven't found one yet, but I'm still searching. It came with a suction mount, but I don't really want it on the dash or the windwhield.

Thanks!

I had a Sirius One (SV1) installed. There was plenty of wire to run from the drivers A pillar to the rear hatch.
Totally enough wire!!! Ran it today.

If anyone happens to be interested in a vent mount for sirius radios, I found this 'clip' vent one on ebay. I expect to receive it Tuesday or Wednesday.

Vent clip

I also found a really cool ipod cup holder (like the Belkin Tunedoc) that is expandable so it holds an Ipod in a case (I have an Agent 18 type plastic case over mine).

I ran my XM all the way to the back drivers side right where the liftgate opens at the top and I still had 3 feet of antennae cable left :)
