Hey all.

After driving the QX56 and Armada, my wife and I have realized that there is not much of a difference to warrant the Q over the Mada so we are going for it in the next week or so. With newly hatched twins, the Audi allroad aint cuttin' it any more for space.

I am looking at the SE fully loaded but have a couple questions:

1. Should i do the factory DVD or get an after market?
2. Is there ANY way to integrate a bluetooth for my Treo 650 into the system?
3. Should I upgrade the wheels through the dealer or do it on my own? Anyone have any suggestions to where I might look for wheels besides tirerack.com?
4. One thing I'm not quite sure of is the warranty...hmmm...i am used to all scheduled maintenance to be included in the warranty. Think I can smooth talk the dealer?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Go aftermarket DVD. You can get a way better systerm for about 30% of what the factory system cost. I have a link in my signature on how I have my system wired to the factory audio. It's hit and miss if yours would have the prewire. It can still be done by adding wires to the harness on the HU. At a minimum just hook the system to the AUX jack behind the dash and get a RF headphone setup....or IR since a lot of monitors already have it built in. The is a sticky on top of the interior mods forum with a web site that has great prices on AV equipment.

don't know anything about bluetooth

I would not go through the dealer for tires. Discount tire has done me good in the past but I've never changed out rims before.

I'd get an extended warranty. As many visits to the dealer as I've had for a spectrum of issues in the first year I'd hate to be without it after 3 years. I don't know if there is a package that takes care of maintance or not. If there is I bet you would save more doing it as needed vs all up front. Like at 7500 miles how likely are you to get an alignment done? I'd try to negotiate a year or two of oil changes and tire rotations.

Thanks,
1. aftermarket but if you put it overhead you may get a very shakey monitor.
I believe the factory monitors even required a brace along the roof for stability
2. no
3. as mentioned discounttire seems a place to start
4. probably not Nissan, try Infiniti

good luck :)
Thanks I may take the dealer up on taking the truck for the day. I drove the LR3 today and liked it but it is not nearly as much truck. I guess that isn't really apples to apples though...
Congratulations

2. Is there ANY way to integrate a bluetooth for my Treo 650 into the system?

I know Motorola sells a bluetooth car kit for $170 ish (check out www.hellomoto.com). Don't know if it is compatible with Treo or if it will integrate with the factory system (i.e.- mute during call, etc.)

3. Should I upgrade the wheels through the dealer or do it on my own? Anyone have any suggestions to where I might look for wheels besides tirerack.com?

http://www.wheel-1.com/wheels.htm# -Check out DIP Assail D02...

4. One thing I'm not quite sure of is the warranty...hmmm...i am used to all scheduled maintenance to be included in the warranty. Think I can smooth talk the dealer?
