Here's a thread about the beam pattern of the Projector Lenses on the Angel Eye lights. I think these definatley are going on the list of mods to come.

Jason B, can you get these and set up a package deal with Angel Eyes and HID's to match, If you can get the pair down to about $475 you might have your first order.

I just bought a set off of eBay. They have both Chrome and Black for the 'Mada and Titans. Sellers ID is "zomkspeed".

Just wish I'd found them sooner - could've had the body shop install them for free since the headlights were getting replaced anyway.

Chrome Halo LED Projectors.

Halo Led Projectors work better with HID Kit than with Halogen H1 Bulbs. I owned one set myself, and like the output of the light. These headlights are easy to install your self. I practically paid a body shop to get them installed with a 1000K HID Kit. I paid $150 for installation but did not even adjust them. So I had to get them off and calibrate them myself, so it took me up to 1 hour but happy with the product. I sugest that for those to purchase this type of headlights for a better light ourput, buy a set of HID Kit of 6000K or 8000K for better vision.

I guess you mean 10,000K HID not 1000K. And why would you recommend 6-8000K if you are running 10,000K. I've got to assume yours are too purple shining through the blue projector lenses. I would tend to agree.

Would replacing the H1's that come with the package with Silvania Silverstars be any better? Didn't realize the HID's were so bloomin' expensive.

Bought the Halo kit for looks anyway, but better lighting is never a bad thing.

Thanks,

Getting Halo lights installed today

Well, my Halo lights were delivered yesterday by UPS. Talked the body shop into installing them for free since they're taking so long getting my truck back to me (over 4 weeks now, will be over $14,000 when completed). I'll start a new thread to share my opinion.

Oh yeah, picked up some Sylvania Silverstars at Kragen Auto Parts & gave those to the body shop too. The guy said they are much better than what came with the kit.

I asked about angel eyes at a local performance shop here in San Diego and they quoted me at $1500 installed. I don't know if they're ripping me off because i'm a girl or if that's really how much they're worth. Any thoughts on this guys?

Angel Eyes

That could be accurate if they are making them custom. However, I would just buy the ones from ebay for $250 - $300 and get the H1 HID kit for another $300. It would save you $900.

thanks
No, The projectors on EBay use H1/H1 (hi/low) bulbs where the Armada used 9005/9006 setup. You'd have to get a new set of HID's.

how hard is the installation of this headlights ?? what about the HID kit ?? compared to installing a cold air intake...or installing neon underbody kits, or a new headunit...how mush more difficult would that be ??
The headlights are easy to install according to the guys on ClubTitan who have put them on. Just a couple screws and they come right out. Wiring is easy too although the directions are not all that good. The HID's are usually plug and play, do a search for HID's on here, many have installed them. If you've installed a CAI and neon lights you could do the headlights too.

10000k bulbs have the least light of all the HID kits. The bigger the number, the less light and more purple.
These also don't have the deflectors the stock headlights do so an HID kit would be very obnoxious and prone to tickets as it is illegal nationally to do this. The purple would make them magnets. I would either do the HID kit or this with silverstars, PIAA or similar bulbs and not HIDs unless you don't care about the couple hundred bucks for each ticket. They do look nice though.

Not true. These do have a very distinct cutoff. They won't be a problem blinding oncoming traffic. But, I do agree the purple 10000K are worthless on a street vehicle.

Didn't see them but if they do I wouldn't worry about the HID then. Probably be a nice combo. ;)
