welcome and enjoy, as far as suburban there is no comparison, and as for breaks problems, Nissan is taking care of this problem.

Hi- New Armada owner here. Stats: 05 SE, 4X4, smoke, graphite leather, tow pkg, dvd, bose, sunroof. Glad to be on board. Really appreciate the active forum members. Read many of your posts prior to purchase to get educated and get a comfort level. Came down to Armada vs. Surburban. Glad I chose the Armada but saw a lot of brake posts.
Have been a Nissan fanatic since the 80's. Have had 200sx, 200sx turbo, multiple maximas, pathfinder, quest. Traded in quest for Armada -what an unbelievable upgrade. The Nissan master tech I have used for years suggested me holding off an an Armada til late in the 2005 production cycle. So far so good. Thanks again for the posts and education.

He suggested you wait so that you would have the new brakes which hit production around May '05. Sounds like he knows his stuff.
