Antenna location

The Sirius is not working. I can see an antenna on the roof on the drivers side front. Is that the Sirius antenna or the navigation antenna. One antenna or the other is either missing or located in a place that I can not see. I believe that the radio functions that put you into satellite mode changed from 05. I get an Antenna message instead of Sirius where I expect it to be. Maybe the message is looking for an antenna that is not there although the Sirius module is installed.

Also ordered a 39 piece real wood trim kit in medium burlwood (will do that install myself).

First off the Sirius has to be activated before it will work. Need to call Sirius and give them some info. Dealer should have done this before you left the lot. If you don't get a signal then something is wrong with either the receiver or the antenna. Again, dealer should have know this before you left the lot. Take it back, make them fix it.

I have the Sirius SIGMA (Sirius Inside Glass Mount Antenna), which is located inside the windshield just on the passenger side of the rear view mirror. It's not small but it isn't in plain view and hidden by the mirror to the driver. Check out the Titantalk link below, this one is mounted outside. Is this where yowhat yours looks like outside on the glass or on the roof.

I did have a problem with the receiver when I first got the truck. No reception whatsoever, couldn't get anything but the ID number to pop up. No reception at all. Dealer had to replace receiver. No problems since then.
