[Master Shake]

My '06 Armada SE has the stock non-Bose system, and it's pretty good except the bass is too boomy at almost any Bass setting -- I prefer nice tight, punchy bass. I don't want to change out the speakers or other parts of the stock system, is there any aftermarket part (like an amp) I could add to the stock system to tighten up the bass?

I bought a bag of pillow wadding material at Wal-Mart for a couple of bucks and struffed it inside the sub. I loosened up the front bolts to the seat and tilted it high enough to remove the subwoofer and fill the enclosure with material. Tightened up the bass enough to get rid of the boominess.
