I have an '04 LE with leather. My front driver seat has been slowly coming undone at the front bottom. The leather has been pulling off the rail and now is all the way off. The dealer said he seen this a few times on Titan/Armada's.

So now the foam is not being supported and everytime I turn a corner, I have to hold on to something so I don't tip over.

Haven't seen any posts about this so I'm curious if anyone else has seen this.

Dealer is replacing the whole seat from rails on up.

Haven't seen this yet. Mine's got a spring squeek but I have a fat ........ so I kinda expected it. Regardless, I will have the dealer check the squeek and it sounds like your dealer is working it.

Hey Tripleblack - Not sure if you were aware, but if you have the leather seats, there is a TSB for the squeak. I took mine in for the squeak, but they said the TSB was for leather only. Mine turned out to be from my seat belt latch, which WD40 took care of. I tried to post a link for the TSB, but it's not working right. Here is the info and TSB number if you want to check it out. :) Good luck, I know how irritating those squeaks can be. :p

Yeah, I saw that. The TSB was for the controls squeeking on the side of the seat. Mine sounds like an old mattress squeek in the springs. Either way, I'll let the dealer sort it out. Fairly easy to demonstrate. Weighing 240 may have something to do with it though. :D

No way dude! Your weight is not the problem. I weigh 240 also. Takw the Mada in for the TSB if you have leather seats. I just had it done. No more squeeks (for now). They are supposed to scuff-up the inside of the power seat control area and lube with some sort of product. Sevice manager still says "with leather .... you could still hear squeeks". Dealers Suck! :D

I got the squeaks too but the whole leather cover has pulled off the front of the seat bracket holding the leather on. I too am in the 200+ club.
The dealer has ordered a whole new seat to replace instead of fix. He said they're not good with sewing machines. I won't argue with anything new..

There are a bunch of threads about the seat leaning to the left. Mine does it. I go in tomorrow for a new seat. I hope that fixes the lean.

I had the seat replaced at 12,000 miles it was fine for about 8,000 more but is leaning again. I wonder if they will put on another seat. Do the 2005 models have the same lean going on or was it fixed.

Yes the 2005 Armada has the same issue. I've had my seat replaced and it again started to creak and squeak after a few thousand miles. The seat track squeaks and a spring the back of the seat near the arm rest joint also squeaks. It also tends to lean in hard turns. I can't tell if it is just the padding moving around or the seat tracks.

This is a full size vehicle, it should handle full size people... obviously the seat manufacturer has not constructed the seats to withstand a lot of weight or abuse.

I have had trouble with both arm rests needing replacement. The biggest seat problem I have however is that the passenger seat is unbearably uncomfortable. It tilts forward, and doesn't come high enough to meet the underside of your thigh. The power adjustment will only move up from the bottom/back of the seat, and only has about 1/2" movement either way. It was terrible on a long trip, no fix!

Speak for yourself!

I'm only 235! LOL! I've the got the squeak issue as well among the many other common issues. Got it replaced as well as the lower cover which was starting to peel the coating after only 5000 miles.
