anyone put headrest monitors in an 05?

just got done doing one on my 05. I ordered a couple of 04 headrest which are a tad bit bigger than the 05. Plus they dont angle. I say only one cause its been a nightmare getting the second one in. The dalership has sent me one for the driver and one for the 3rd row which is a lot smaller than the front row seats. They sent me the wrong one again today. Keep in mind they are on back order for about three weeks. i had to have them order it twice. The only thin I can think of on the 05 headrest is that you'll have to get the monitors that angle up and down. PLus youll have to get smaller than 7" monitors

I put in the prefab ones with the 7" already in the headrest. The work great. They are lillte darker in color but its not worth doing anything about.

Cost me 365 for both to the door.

I went the in-expensive route (read that cheap) .. purchased a Kawasaki portable DVD system .. 2 7" monitors .. expandable to 4. 2 separate DVD controllers so can play 2 different DVDs .. has plug ins for XBOX/PS .. remote controllers (2 separate ones) .. ohh .. screens "strap-on" headrests .. and have tilt feature .. system plays CDs and MP3s as well ...

Came w/AC adapter .. so I can bring "inside" and play DVDs, etc .. too!

$399.99 ... great to keep "kids" entertained on long trips .. then can bring into a hotel/motel to continue ...

Where did you find a pair for $365? More info please?

you guys got pics of your installs? and I would also like to know wher eyou got prefabs for 365? thanks.
also I have the over head monitor and I have my nav monitor to play the dvds also, jsut wanted to add some headrest monitors too.
I have never seen any that swivel up and down, where did you see those at thanks again.

Like to see pics of the pre fabbed headrest. What brand are they ? are they the ones on ebay ?

wow! thats a good price. i was just gonna go for cheap headrest monitors that just bolt on to the bottom of the headrest. but i am really intrested in the prefab ones. i would appreciete it if u could tell me where you bought them.thanks.

LOL .. y'all too fancy for me ...

I just got the strap-on (to the headrest) style .. screens have a tilt feature. This way I can install 'em before we go on a trip .. un-strap 'em when we reach our destination and hide 'em out of sight.

For those in-between stops .. I got towels (dark grey .. that matches the interior) and throw that over the headrests. At night you can't see the towels .. so it covers the monitors pretty good. During the day, it looks like we're just covering the headrests.
