Today I decided to change the transfer fluid and was following Jet tech's how to from club titan. Once I got underneath the Armada, it didn't appear to be like what Jet tech has posted on club titan. In Armada, the fill plug is facing rear whereas drain plug is facing forward. Since I was not 100% sure, I deferred the fluid change and decided to ask you guys if it is indeed xfer case. It appears to be that xfer case in Armada is almost towards the center of vehicle whereas Jet Tech was mentioning removing skid plates. Please help. Thanks

The transfer cases are different between the Titan and Armada since the Armada has the Auto function, which the Titan doesn't. I think you have the drain and fill plugs located properly. Look at attached drawing.

When I installed the grounding kit my transfer case was different than the pictures on the instructions, which said for the Armada but I guess they could have been from a Titan.

Tranfer Filter

How often should you change the filter on the transfer case? I change my fluid about every 10k in the trans and transfer case. At 3000 I put mobil 1 synthetic ATF in the tranfercase.
