Depends on the boat weight, etc. I'm always at the ramp and more often than not I see a 4x2 spinning its tires trying to get a boat out. The part of the ramp by the water is slimy and you are pulling uphill. This is one of the main reasons I have a 4x4. No offense, but a 4x2 SUV to me is just a tall tippy van. Try having 6 buddies jump up and down on the bumper while the tire spins and smokes.
