Most people that have a tv tuner probably have one built into their DVD player or the TV monitor itself.
There are many tv tuners out there and most likely none will work very good. Unless you can mount a 20' antenna on the roof of your Armada, reception will be a big problem.
I know, because I've tried over 5 tuners, over 10 antenna configurations. None work. Sometimes certain channels come in, but usually not.

So depending on where you live, it may better than what I get.

There's other options like DirecTV, but not for me.
I have a Kenwood 911 in my wife’s 03 altima and it sucks here in Tucson but if I drive up to phoenix it works great. Like Andy said, its all depending on where you live. That is why I am going with the tracvision5 w/DirecTV

Can you tell us more about how DirecTV tracvision works? I know there's a pretty big round thing you put on the roof. How much does it cost per month and how much does the equipment cost?
I'd love to have clear TV reception from the car.

Here is the link to KVH the mfg of the tracvision
http://www.kvh.com/products/product.asp?id=79

the cost is around $2200 for KVH TracVisionA5
Mobile DIRECTV antenna/receiver package

extra DIRECTV tuner is about $700

Existing DIRECTV subscribers can enjoy the TOTAL CHOICE MOBILE service in the car for only $4.99 per month ($41.99 for mobile-only subscribers).
Both XM and Sirrus are working on getting video feed to car.
That would be sweet. Video to the car has got to be next thing to get. Anything to keep the kids occupied on those long drives.
The video for Sirius is for the kids. I heard there going to be 2 channels for the kids to start with. The bad thing is that we would have to get new tuners with a video output
