No. Bigger wheels give you more rotating mass. However, brakes stop the momentum energy of the trucks mothon, not just the rotating mass of the wheels. You will wear out your brakes a little more, but it won't significantly decrease your braking. Remember, our brakes are made to enable us to safely brake with a 9,000 trailer hooked up. Most people add bigger brakes for aestetic purposes because larger wheels allow you to see them. Stock stuff isn't impressive and looks small on large wheels. Also, most wheel guys will sell you on bigger brakes because they want the sale. 22" wheels won't require you to do anything.hullio said:I might get 22" Oynx Lexani rims with 305/45/22 Nitto tires.
