I just worked out a deal on a brand new 2005 leftover at a local dealer. The Amada is a 4x4 LE Technology group, DVD, etc... is $40K a good deal? MSRP is $48,130.. invoice is $43,543 and the current rebate is $2500. The vehicle is for my wife, she loves enterior and exterior colors. Is this a good enough deal to not get a 2006? Thanks for your advise.

Climate Control

'05 LE has dual climate control standard. The other two are legit' power mirrors and split 3rd row are definately '06 additions. Sounds like a pretty good deal. I got mine back in Jun '05 LE 4x2 Tech, DVD, mats, rear mud guards for $42,1K + tax tags, and title - $1500 rebate.

I would say so. Sounds about identical to mine but I got mine for $37K. My dealer gave me a good military discount also. 500.00 because I am military and 500.00 because I was injured in Iraq. BUY THAT ARMADA. You'll love it.

40k out the door = excellent deal, buy it!!!

40k + tax & fees = still a good deal and still buy it!!!

Either way you look at you are getting a good deal...just think about what other "un-educated" people have paid for their ride.

Call another dealer and tell them the deal you have worked out and see if they are willing to match it with an'06. Not much of a difference from 05-06 if it doesn't work out. Not a bad deal though.

Make sure you get your out the door price. Taxes, tags, etc. I got mine for $45 out the door with 2% financing. Same Pkg you are looking at and I got it in December '04 when it was new.

Also, make sure you get the new brake rotors before taking delivery, or you will be back in 5-10k miles. Other than that, it should work well for you. I've had great luck with mine. The only thing I would recommend modifying right out the gate is tires. Get different ones, whether stock size on stock rims, or new rims and tires. The stock tires are junk and the mada rides much better, handles better wet and dry, etc. with good tires. Huge difference. ;)

Post Date

Hey Spyda and TB, did you notice the date on the original post. I doubt the deal still stands now. And I highly doubt the truck is still on the lot.
