Where does it moun nad do you have to take off the factory tow hooks ( Yes I really need them, used them too)???

how much protection does this product offer to the lower bumper opening, Or would I be better off gettin a lower grille insert( really gotta protect the A/C condenser from stones and such)????

You remove the hooks when you install any bull bar, not just Westin.

It should protect against small stones, etc. However, remember it has LESS protection in an accident. The bar bends back causing damage to areas like the hood that would have sustained none during an accident. They are entirely made for looks, not function, but should give some small stone protection to the lower area, though not by design. A grille would work just as well or better vs. small stones. As a side note, I haven't heard anyone on this or any titan boards who had small stones/debris causing any damage due to the lower grille area being open. I would think it would be safe unless you follow other rigs close behind down gravel roads at high speeds.
I agree. Bull bar looks sharp. This is the reason you should get one.
I pulled a workers minivan out of my future back yard. The ground is basically sand and he turtled it where the pool goes. Yanked him about 100 yards over sandy ground. Worked great. Make sure you have a good tow rope. The "el cheapos" you get from most auto parts stores break really easily and then there's problems. The 10k lbs one for example really can pull about 4k and the 10k is a brief yank. I got a procomp one from 4wheelparts.com rated at 20k and believe me, this is a meaty sucker. ;) http://www.4wheelparts.com/4wp/prod...&man=PRO&parentProdline=SusAccPRO&expand=sub7
